and parent groups where the accommodation is built in rather than requested.

This already happened. Here's what it looked like.
A full day of adaptive soccer at Municipal Park and The Hive of Hope Mills in Hope Mills, run with The Hive of Hope Mills and Hope Mills Parks and Recreation.
The whole point of the day, in one frame.Adaptive play on the field, oversized balls and all.Warm-ups, with the food trucks already setting up behind the fence.Opening remarks, and thank-yous to the vendors and sponsors.Roughly the mood of the entire morning.The sensory support table. Ear covers and fidgets out from the start, so nobody has to ask for them.

Every event Kwirkz runs is free and open to the whole family. Community
events run by partner organizations are tagged, and some, like the golf
tournament, take paid registration through their host. Dates are confirmed

Advance Academy Open House
Community event
Returning families noon to 2pm. Community open house 3pm to 5pm.
Matthew Reardon Center for Autism 11500 Middleground Road, Savannah, GA 31419.
An open house at Advance Academy, the accredited year-round school for students ages 5 to 21 at the Matthew Reardon Center for Autism. Tour the campus, see the individualized support programs, and meet the people behind them. A food truck is on site from noon to 5pm.
Gates Four Golf & Country Club 6775 Irongate Drive, Fayetteville, NC.
The 4th annual charity golf tournament run by Miller's Crew, and Kwirkz is a sponsor. Putting and chipping contests, lunch for every player and a raffle, with all proceeds supporting Miller's Crew and the Miller's Brew Coffee Shop. Registration and sponsorships both go through the Miller's Crew site.
Autism Awareness Car & Motorcycle Show
Community event
4pm to 8pm.
The Hive of Hope Mills 3414 Bullard Street, Hope Mills, NC 28348.
A car and motorcycle show supporting autism awareness and inclusive play for children and families, powered by Sound Sensory Therapeutic Playhouse. An evening of cars and bikes at The Hive; the flyer carries the full details.
The Hive of Hope Mills Walking route around Municipal Park.
An open walk and roll for the whole town, not just the special needs community. T-shirts, music, quirky costumes and themed stations along the route. Non-profits and vendors are welcome to take a table.
A monthly group for parents and guardians: make friends who understand the week you have had, talk directly to resources, and get help navigating what is around you. More information will be released closer to the start. Download the flyer (PDF)

What we've been building.
The Hive of Hope Mills. The $1.1 million food truck park and
community event centre on Bullard Street, and the venue where our in-person
programs run. This is the building the Konnectionz parent and guardian support group will meet in, starting January 2027!
Kick it for Kwirkz was a huge success
Adaptive soccer took over Municipal Park and The Hive of Hope Mills for the day:
adaptive soccer stations, a sensory support table, non-profit vendors, food
trucks, music and a field full of people who did not have to ask whether they
belonged there.
In our own words the morning after: “Thank you to all of our participants,
volunteers, non-profit vendors, and sponsors/donors for coming out and
supporting the big day! We couldn't have done it without you. We look forward
to bringing more opportunities to the Town of Hope Mills!”
The Hive is a new $1.1 million food truck park and 3,500 square foot community
event center at 3414 Bullard Street in Hope Mills, North Carolina, with space
for seven food trucks, a covered stage, market areas and a flexible indoor
venue. Kwirkz anchors the inclusive, community-first programming there:
grassroots, family-friendly events including movie nights, craft fairs,
literacy activities, accessible community sports and celebrations.
It gives the community something it has not had: a permanent, accessible
place to gather that was designed with us at the table rather than
accommodated afterwards.
