Kwirkz runs on real gatherings: adaptive sports, resource fairs, family nights and parent groups where the accommodation is built in rather than requested. Here is what's coming up and what we've been up to.

Upcoming events

Every event Kwirkz runs is free and open to the whole family. Community events run by partner organizations are tagged, and some, like the golf tournament, take paid registration through their host. 11500 Middleground Road, Savannah, GA 31419.		 An open house at Advance Academy, the accredited year-round school for students ages 5 to 21 at the Matthew Reardon Center for Autism. Miller's Crew Charity Golf Tournament Kwirkz sponsored Gates Four Golf & Country Club
6775 Irongate Drive, Fayetteville, NC.		 The 4th annual charity golf tournament run by Miller's Crew, and Kwirkz is a sponsor. Putting and chipping contests, lunch for every player and a raffle, with all proceeds supporting Miller's Crew and the Miller's Brew Coffee Shop. Dates to be released.		 The Hive of Hope Mills A monthly group for parents and guardians: make friends who understand the week you have had, talk directly to resources, and get help navigating what is around you. More information will be released closer to the start.

Kick it for Kwirkz Adaptive soccer Returning in

What we've been building.

The Hive of Hope Mills. The $1.1 million food truck park and community event centre on Bullard Street, and the venue where our in-person programs run. This is the building the Konnectionz parent and guardian support group will meet in, starting January 2027!

Up & Coming Weekly tells the Kwirkz story

Fayetteville’s Up & Coming Weekly profiled Kwirkz in a feature by Tiffany Haywood: why the name is spelled the way it is, the five pillars we work toward (social connection, education, employment, transportation and housing), and the app we are building so families can find resources, and organizations can find families, in one trusted place.

It also tells the part we care most about. Kwirkz exists to be the connective tissue between families, non-profits, businesses and the resources that already exist, not to duplicate them. That started with founder Ryan Cretens watching his brother Tyler grow up with fewer opportunities than he had, and it is why gatherings at The Hive of Hope Mills keep drawing 70 to 75 people at a time.

Kick it for Kwirkz was a huge success

Adaptive soccer took over Municipal Park and The Hive of Hope Mills for the day: adaptive soccer stations, a sensory support table, non-profit vendors, food trucks, music and a field full of people who did not have to ask whether they belonged there.

In our own words the morning after: “Thank you to all of our participants, volunteers, non-profit vendors, and sponsors/donors for coming out and supporting the big day! We couldn't have done it without you. We look forward to bringing more opportunities to the Town of Hope Mills!”

Kwirkz partners with The Hive of Hope Mills

The Hive is a new $1.1 million food truck park and 3,500 square foot community event center at 3414 Bullard Street in Hope Mills, North Carolina, with space for seven food trucks, a covered stage, market areas and a flexible indoor venue. Kwirkz anchors the inclusive, community-first programming there: grassroots, family-friendly events including movie nights, craft fairs, literacy activities, accessible community sports and celebrations.

It gives the community something it has not had: a permanent, accessible place to gather that was designed with us at the table rather than accommodated afterwards.
